Jacob Cain
Facilitator
Jacob initially joined D’Vine Path as a high school volunteer in 2018 before being hired as a facilitator in the Cordon program later that same year. Ever since, Jacob has been an integral member of the D’Vine Path team. He is a graduate from UC Santa Barbara with Bachelor of Science, Ecology and Evolution and during his time at UCSB he studied Behavioral Ecology, Stream Ecology, Marine Climate Ecology, Macroevolution, Biometry and more. He has also worked in various lab environments, such as the Hillary Young Lab where he conducted field work at local preserves and prepared samples for analysis. With his in-depth knowledge of science and ecology, Jacob offers D’Vine Path students an educated perspective and true passion for agriculture. He is excited to continue working with the students at D’Vine Path and helping them achieve their personal and vocational goals by being immersed in the farm, garden and viticulture environment offered on site.
